really ranch dressing

this vegan ranch dressing is so tasty, i made it twice in one week!

(this recipe is from tofu-n-sproutz.)

1 C. vegan mayonnaise
1/4-1/2 C. milk alternative (rice/soy/almond)
1/2 C. vegan sour cream (OR 1/2 C. pureed silken tofu)
1 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp celery salt OR:
1 tsp celery seed AND 1/4 tsp salt
2 Tbsp very finely chopped green onions (or fresh chives, chopped)
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 Tbsp minced parsley (fresh is WAY better here)
1 garlic clove, finely minced
1/4 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp cayenne (more if you like it spicy)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

place all ingredients except the milk in a blender or food processor. slowly add milk until you reach your desired consistency. (the first time i made it the dressing was a little watery so be careful not to add too much milk - you can always add more later to thin it.)
(makes over 2 cups)

  1. Looks delicious. I'm just not good with over 5 ingredients. I know I'm sad.
