Truly there are! I love "Anne of Green Gables", one of my favourite books!
There are many kindred spirits, aren't there?---even among us flawed human beings, if we'd only take the time to recognize it. Blessings.

I know huh? She seems real to me too - she's so lovable and relatable. I haven't read the books but think I should. I've watched the PBS movies - my dad, believe it or not, got me into it years ago. So many great quotes from it.
Oh so great that you're reading it per my recommendation! And I'm happy you like it! When I read it, I felt Anne's just like me.
lela - me too!=)
heidi- i'm hesitant to watch the movies. i fear it'll ruin my perfect image of anne and marilla and green gables.=)
I had my daughter read it a few years back and I haven't even read it yet!!I am a reader wannabe. I truly love books, everything about them, I just don't have enough down time to get through them. Perhaps when the kiddos get a bit older. Hopefully I won't konk out by then. :)Peace & Raw Health,Elizabeth
