kati-cakes would have us play with her and the feather toy all day if she could. pop-pop don made it for her with a neat bamboo handle, and she just thinks it's the cat's meow (har har har=).
in fact, kati gets real naughty when we don't play with her, scratching the window screen and munching on things she shouldn't. she's a fiesty little feline!
kati's pretty much adjusted and has even been snuggling with us. she greets us at the door and follows us around like a puppy. we couldn't have imagined a cuter cat!
now if you'll please excuse me, i've got some feathers to shake.=)
Kati is the cutest! She looks so cute. I'm so glad you guys took her into your home. :)
ReplyDeletethank you malle! she's really sweet. we really got lucky choosing her!
DeleteSounds like she's very kitten-like even all grown up! Glad she has you to entertain her.
ReplyDeletewe weren't expecting all her energy! the other day she got stuck in our basement rafters. good thing we keep an eye on her down there. john had to lift a chair to her and she used it like an elevator to get down! good grief!=)
DeleteOk, so that first picture--LOVE IT. Just priceless! Love the post! Enjoy your sweet kitty!
ReplyDeletethank you sarah!=)
DeleteLooks like kitty got adjusted to the new environment and is happily playing around with her new toy. But I also noticed at on the background you have english ivy so I hope she's not munching on it as it's very poisonous to cats.
ReplyDeletethank you for letting me know, jenny! she's been trying to get into all the plants, and i've already given one away. i'm sad to part with the english ivy, but maybe i can plant it outside!
Deleteyou can use this list to see what else is poisonous to cats: http://www.aspca.org/Pet-care/poison-control/Plants?plant_toxicity=toxic-to-cats&page=3
DeleteAw, love Kati-cakes! That first pic cracks me up. :)
