muth's csa is back up and running. just when i think i had eaten my last local tomato, i'm welcomed by bins of heirloom jewels. tomato sandwiches for dinner it is!

ReplyDeleteOh, how fortunate you are!!! I can't wait to get to the farmer's markets--they are really getting loaded up now and I am soooo excited to indulge in the local organic produce--FINALLY!!! It has been a looooong summer with out local produce.

so awesome...we just got heirloom tomatoes as well, along with broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, mixed greens, bell peppers, leeks, carnival squash, delicata squash, and loads of APPLES!

ReplyDeleteThat's cool you get to fill the basket yourself. The CSAs I've participated in you get what's in the box. One has a trade box, but it usually ends up with a lot of beets.
