this smoothie is the start of my detox. i'm excited to start feeling good again.
ingredients: one frozen banana, half frozen peach, handful frozen blueberries, one small apple, one chiogga beet, one cucumber, six kale leaves, and juice of half a lemon. yields about 4 cups.

Happy detoxing! It looks like you're off to a great start. Haven't yet attempted beets in a smoothie, though I love them in my juices. Apple/beet/kale/ginger is a fave around my house.

ReplyDeletehey bitt, i'm having smoothies, raw fruits and veggies throughout the day and a "toxin-flushing" cooked soup. i'm not ready for all raw and this is way better than what i have been eating. baby steps.
