sadie, the silly mutt next door keeps comin' to the fence to get head rubbins from mommy.

she's kind of sweet, i guess... for a dog!

since lounging on the patio under the papasan is way more pleasurable than walking, i stay home when my parents visit the new community garden. from what i hear it's really looking nice...

they're growing more cantaloupe over there...

and butternut squash!

there's even a place to rest in front of a squash patch - pretty cozy if ya ask me!

  5. I heart your garden! Ahem, your mommie's garden that is. Biggles, a wonderful job you did on the update. The sunflowers are GORGEOUS! I want them. Sadly, we didn't grow any this year. Next year for sure! They're so happy. Love the neighbor puppy - Sadie is purty...well, for a dog. :) Nice work on the rain barrel too.

love your gardens! and the fact that your color-coordinated/coded the text that you dropped in on it, i.e. red text for strawberries...love the way you think!

  8. Thanks for the great tour Biggles, your mom's garden is looking great. Do me a favor and tell her how neat I thought the green apple cucumber was and tell her I liked the video too. One of our future projects is to set up some sort of rain catchment system on the barn. Have a nice nap.:)

  15. Big, sloppy smooches to Biggles and Sadie!

Your gardens are looking great! No need for rain barrels at my house, we get no rain. Well, not enough to fill a barrel.
